About This Video Segment (1 of 4)
What is the Paper Airplane Factory game? Allows students to practice rapid iteration while overcoming challenges as a group.
Students are challenged with what seems like an easy activity — and with a high return on investment.
Students have fun because they’re allowed to do something in the classroom that is normally forbidden: make and fly paper airplanes.
Through the activity, students learn how challenging it is to capture opportunity in the market because of failure in iteration + dynamics of working in a group/organization (vs. a “lone wolf” entrepreneur).
They learn to work together and to share knowledge . . . and even then, they may not be successful.
