This resource is a comprehensive examination of the Women’s Movement that guides students through the process of learning about key figures and the challenges and accomplishments of the movement. Standards, detailed lesson plans, necessary materials, assessments, and much more are all included. Throughout the unit, students participate in a variety of activities including analyzing song lyrics, watching a PBS documentary, and conducting a Socratic seminar. These lessons are thoughtful and will engage all types of students as they learn about the Women’s Movement.
