• This resource is a good graphic organizer which supports students in learning vocabulary. It goes beyond just having students define words by asking them to write a sentence and draw a picture which should help with memory retention. Although the resource does not identify a specific source for the vocabulary words, it is clear that it could be valuable in a variety ways. Students could write down vocabulary words from a textbook reading, a handout, or a lecture. It would be beneficial to include an example of a content relevant vocabulary word with a definition, a sentence, and a picture to model the activity for the students.
