This unit explores the 1920s and 1930s, as America experiences a booming economic period following the first World War, transitions into an economic depression, and attempts to alleviate the crisis through the implementation of the New Deal.  Specifically, resources cover cultural advances of the 1920s, the  economic depression, the League of Nations, race relations and the NAACP, FDR's fireside chats and New Deal plans, and Eleanor Roosevelt's contribution to the New Deal.
