Each entry is comprehensive in that it covers information on history, politics, economics, foreign policy, and much more. The site would be useful in a variety of social studies activities including country research papers, a country brochure project, or a United Nations simulation. The content is similar to an encyclopedia entry and includes some images such as maps and photos.
