This resource is a small collection of valuable resources that can be used to help teach students about different types of governments around the world. Two charts, one basic and one advanced, are provided for students to use to take notes from an informative PowerPoint presentation that compares the US Constitution to those of India, Germany, Iran, and Brazil. The content is accurate and presented in an engaging way with images and key excerpts from the relevant documents. While a lesson plan is not provided, this could easily be integrated into a variety of units that examine different governments. The lesson could also be adapted to fit the needs of particular classroom to cover other countries and/or allow students to research the comparisons.
