Discussion / Brainstorm with Class personal definitions of body image, self-esteem, what influences YOU (examples written on board) 2. Lecture / Presentation define body image, self-esteem give media examples: good and bad influences > Victoria's Secret, Barbie, Axe > Dove, I Used To Be Fat (MTV) how to cultivate healthy body image practically
 

Assessment:
 

Students will submit their brainstorm on beauty Students will design a magazine ad in groups that portrays their group opinion of what beauty is and the influence of media on it
