Khan Academy video on balanced, unbalanced forces, and Newton\'s Laws

Interactive simulation from CK-12 that walks through how thrust and drag affect the motion of an airboat. Students will gain understanding of Newton's First and Second Laws http://www.ck12.org/physics/Newtons-First-and-Second-Laws/ and Uniform Acceleration http://www.ck12.org/physics/Uniform-Acceleration/.

Simulation which examins the rate of acceleration of a cliff diver towards the water after the dive.

Simulation where students examine a robot race of accleration to understand Newton\'s laws.

040 - Interaction Forces In this video Paul Andersen explains how forces on an object always require another object. An object cannot exert a force on itself. If net forces on an object are balanced the object will remain at rest or move with a constant velocity. However if the net forces are unbalanced the object will accelerate in the direction of the net force.

Simuation where students apply Newton\'s laws to understand the butterfly stroke in swimming.

Simulation where students can maniulate the movement of Irwin the robot to understand Newton\'s laws.

Interactive simulation where students can manipulate force, mass, and accleration to see their relationships with each other.

Khan Academy video of Newton\'s Second Law of Motion

Khan Academy on unbalanced forces and Newton\'s Laws of Motion.
