Everglades Airboat

by Lani deGuia

Interactive simulation from CK-12 that walks through how thrust and drag affect the motion of an airboat. Students will gain understanding of Newton's First and Second Laws http://www.ck12.org/physics/Newtons-First-and-Second-Laws/ and Uniform Acceleration http://www.ck12.org/physics/Uniform-Acceleration/.

040 - Interaction Forces In this video Paul Andersen explains how forces on an object always require another object. An object cannot exert a force on itself. If net forces on an object are balanced the object will remain at rest or move with a constant velocity. However if the net forces are unbalanced the object will accelerate in the direction of the net force.
