This collection demonstrates how members can create "leveled" collections of curriculum resources.
A collection is a top-level "containing resource" that can be created on Curriki; it's purpose is to contain other resources, and to enable you to control the sequence and levels of any sub-resources.
A collection is automatically featured in listings on the Curriculum tab for a group or the Collections tab in an individual's My Curriki.
Collections can contain folders or individual file resources. This resource, "Sample Collection," contains both.
Folders can contain folders or individual file resources.
The structure of a leveled collection can be viewed in the Table of Contents for a resource.
This "abstract" containing and file resource structure can be applied to any kind of project, whether you are creating/organizing a course to share on Curriki, or a textbook, or simply organizing curricular materials.
Check out Great Collections accessible from the Curriculum tab of the Curriki Leaders Group or at
http://www.curriki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Coll_Group_CurrikiLeadersGroup/GreatCollections. This offers a set of concrete examples that portray how the collection/folder/file resource leveling has been applied.
