• This asset is a very useful overview of how to create simulations for students. The two page document includes a rationale on the value of simulations, guidelines for creating effective simulations, suggestions for the number of students, and ideas for using manipulatives during the simulation. There are a few references to topics that could be used for a simulation such as warlords in Feudal Japan or factory workers in the Soviet Union. It should be noted that the contributor provided a model of a simulation about cultural diffusion that is posted on Curriki.
