IN COLLECTION
This resource identifies the eight reading strategies and offers phrase starters to help students create meaning from text. I handed out this resource, modeled specific ones daily, and hung them up in my classroom. Both students and I refer to them often. This is a content free resource. This resource is an adaptation from Kylene Beers's book entitled "When Kids Can't Read, What Teachers Can Do."
