- This collection of websites will help students and teachers access primary documents and provide ideas for activities that increase student understanding of related events. The first link is to the Fordham University Internet History Sourcebook site. The site appears to be in the process of being updated but it has a lot of useful links such as homework help for various periods in history. The second link is to the National Archives site and it has resources for both teachers and students including lesson plans and online quizzes and exhibits. The third link is to the Library of Congress which has very good classroom materials as well as professional development opportunities. The last link is to the American Journey website which focuses on curriculum resources around exploration settlement. Overall, these websites will be very useful to teachers as they incorporate primary documents into the social studies curriculum.
