• This resource is a short PowerPoint presentation that includes simple questions to guide students through a pre-reading activity. Students would need to scan the particular section for images and dates to be able to answer the questions. This is a valuable technique for helping students become interested in the topic and also to support their overall retention of the material. When first implementing this activity, it would be beneficial to do it together as a whole class to provide guided instruction.
