• This resource is a PowerPoint slide show that guides students through an exploration of the causes of the French Revolution. The lesson includes an opportunity for students to use prior knowledge to discuss social classes in the United States which builds a connection to the historical content. The main part of the lesson has students use their textbook to find supporting examples of five different causes of the French Revolution. It should be noted that the lesson refers to a specific textbook but similar information will most likely be found in other World History textbooks.
