This unit stands out because of the thoughtful questions asked about the book, A Lesson Before Dying. The extension activities are well presented, as well as the unit exam. We recognize that you put a lot of time into writing this excellent resource. There are a few minor things you could do to make it be even better. The Curriki Reviewers feel it would be helpful to change the description to fully match the actual design. The educational level needs to be changed to not include grades 6-8. The persuasive techniques are not obvious in this unit. We recommend that you split this resource into two resources: A Lesson Before Dying and A Persuasive Essay or make the connection between the two more explicit.
