This activity has students use math to determine the amounts of ingredients needed to increase the number of servings for a variety of recipes. The activity refers to a video that is not included; however, the conversion activity can still be completed without the video. There is also reference made to deciding if a recipe is healthy based on nutrition labels, but this idea is not expanded on in the activity. It is likely that students would enjoy making the recipes, if ingredients are available. The activity would be improved by providing more information or guidance for nutritional value calculations and if answer keys were provided.
