• This is an excellent resource for learning about Native Americans that includes a detailed lesson plan and a useful PowerPoint presentation. The lesson has students use the program KidPix to create a scene about one Native American tribe. There are technology objectives as well as clear and easy to follow procedures in the lesson plan. The PowerPoint provides students with directions for the project along with the necessary content on each of the tribes. In order to implement this lesson, it would be necessary to have access to a computer lab and the KidPix software. Overall, this is a great strategy for engaging students while teaching them valuable technology skills and rich content.
