The lesson has clear objectives, detailed procedures, specific activities, and references to the necessary materials. Throughout the lesson, students participate in many different activities including class discussions, debates, reading, and an independent writing assignment. While most directly related to a Government or Civics course, this activity could be used in any high school Social Studies class during a discussion of current issues.
