A collection of images and videos put into a PowerPoint presentation. This is meant to be used as a discussion tool and to inspire critical thinking.

-What is the image/video saying directly? -What is the image/video really say? What is the hidden message? -What visual aspects are being used? What feelings do the images incite? -Who is the target audience?

These images from the Cold War can also be partnered with images from today's current events. Ask the students to point out the similarities and differences between propaganda during the Cold War and propaganda now. Ask students to make their own propaganda poster.
