Reviewer Comments:
This collection of materials is appropriate for the high school classroom, and can be adapted for use at other levels. Although the PowerPoint presentation contains a few minor spelling errors (slide 1 - “publication” and slide 4 – “matter”), it is comprehensive in its material, covering topics of precision and accuracy, experimental error, significant figures, and scientific notation. The accompanying worksheets and quiz are varied and well organized. A few problems refer to a specific textbook, but can easily be adapted for broader use. The test review sheet lists vocabulary and concepts, leaving blank space for comments and notes. The quiz does requires users to draw in "bullet holes" for problem #10. All parts of this resource are immediately useful in the classroom, although it will take time initially to create answer keys for the worksheets, quiz and practice problems.

I give this outline to my students and they are able to fill in the blanks as we go through the notes. This way they do not have to sit and write the whole time and they are able to listen to me. But it does make them pay attention in order to get all of the notes.
