Jennifer, who claims to be a witch. Jennifer persuades Elizabeth to be
her apprentice and, as part of her training, Elizabeth must eat raw
eggs and onions. The girls become close as they try to find a formula
for a magical flying ointment. Eventually, they give up being witches
and become simply friends.
