Reviewer Comments:
This collection is suitable for middle or high school students and has two parts. In the first activity, students quantitatively study the properties (mostly density) of snow, ice, and water. In the second activity, students conduct a local snow study, based on the work of the Museum of the Earth’s Dr. Duggan Haas. Most exciting, students have the opportunity to submit their local data to Dr. Haas’s study!
