This CAP, entitled Vocabulary and SAT Preparation, will enable students to effectively prepare for the Scholastic Aptitude Test while building their vocabulary. Each section of the SAT examination will be thoroughly explored. Detailed strategies for successfully completing all sections will be introduced and implemented to maximize student success. Introducing the students to these strategies during separate meeting periods and following them up with at home practice will allow for students to focus on one strategy at a time, one section at a time. As a result of this CAP, teachers of the course will be able to draw from one unique source, including powerpoints, schedules and helpful tips.
