Algebra II/Trigonometry Honors

by MarionPallotta Curriculum Office

In March 2005, the New York State Education Department issued a set of performance indicators for Mathematics education in grades pre-k through twelve. These performance indicators were divided among process strands and content strands. In addition, beginning in June 2010, a new Algebra 2/Trigonometry Regents exam will be given. The scope and sequence for Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry has been created to correlate the State performance indicators with the units of study and to provide additional topics and more challenging applications of the Regents level topics for those students who would like to explore the material in greater depth than that required for Regents level students.
