This resource is a collection of lessons on the foundations of American government. All of the lessons are thoughtful and well-organized with objectives, detailed procedures, and links or references to the necessary materials. Some of the highlights include the use of movies and literature to discuss the need for government and an opportunity for students to discuss the relevance of the Declaration of Independence by discussing a hypothetical situation in which Hawaii wanted to separate from the United States. It should be noted that these lessons were created using the curriculum builder which allows users to easily make changes to the lessons but there are also a few formatting issues throughout the collection.
