Faculty participants in this Faculty Learning Community will have the following opportunities in Spring 2011: Access a set of active learning methods and interactive class activities Select methods and activities to try out with your Beginning/Elementary Algebra class Pose questions to the ALEA coach and discuss issues online with other team members Report back to the team on the experience and impacts of using Active Learning Meet periodically online with other team members to share expertise and ideas Contribute to further resource development, plan further evaluation steps and extensions.
