HELP Math is a supplemental mathematics intervention which engages students through interactive multimedia lessons that break down math terms and concepts, so that students can easily understand and retain the math content. HELP Math targets vocabulary development and embeds sheltered instruction techniques directly into standards-aligned content using technology. With its scaffolded instruction and focus on the intersection of math concept and skill development and English language acquisition, HELP Math is suitable for all students needing extra support, particularly the English language learner (ELL).

This is the first of 12 lessons in the HELP Math geometry course for middle school students. Each lesson has 2-3 hours of self-paced content and can be used independently of the other lessons.
