• This Powerpoint on D-Day has a lot of accurate content, good maps, and engaging photographs. It provides extensive information on the Allied offensives prior to D-Day, then reviews specific details of D-Day, and concludes with a series of powerful images. If the intent of the presentation is to have students take notes about the event, it might be more beneficial to spread out the information. For example, the presentation could be reorganized to have a smaller amount of content on each slide and then include a relevant image. There is also a follow-up activity for students to write a journal from the perspective of a soldier that is a separate resource on Curriki.
