This web-based activity will have students looking at historic glaciers and comparing them to today. Students will have up-to-date understanding of how glaciers are changing.

This lesson clarifies glacial retreat with the use of historical photos of glaciers. Students will collect information on glaciers answering the questions of:

What is the same in the glacier pictures? What is different? How much time did it take for the changes to happen to the glaciers?
