This chapter from an algebra text is a very complete, very dense explanation of logarithms based around a graphing calculator. The explanations of inverse functions are a little opaque but the overall treatment is quite clear. At the end of the chapter students are given an immense set of exercises, allowing the teacher to select a set to match any proficiency level.
