The unit includes material on historical information, character analysis, literary elements, rubric, research, a reading schedule, writing in different genres (i.e. blogging, poetry, letters, and persuasive essays). Written for a college class, this unit designed for 12th graders provides a great starting point for any teacher using Catcher in the Rye.
