This resource is designed as an alternative format to a book report. It appears as a restaurant menu, eliciting thoughtful responses to a book. The appetizer section, for example, asks questions about the beginning of the book, the cover, etc. By responding to this menu, the student is offered an opportunity to review a book in a personally meaningful way.

Thanks! This menu will fit almost any fiction novel. There are clear instructions and a cute little picture to add interest.

This is a great way to keep the students interested in the books they are reading. Not only is it not a traditional book report, but it allows for creativity…
