The Science Clips website is aimed at children aged 5-11 years and their teachers. It accompanies the Science Clips TV series (for details and transmission times, please visit the BBC Schools Programme Guide.) The Clip Characteristics of materials is relevant to Key Stage 2 Unit 3C of the UK national curriculum. There is an interactive experiment and quiz and an associated set of teacher resources. The science clips website is arranged into 36 units, corresponding to the QCA's Primary Schemes of Work for Science. It adheres to the Programmes of Study at Key Stages 1 and 2 for Science in England; to Scotland’s 5-14 Curriculum for Science; to the Programmes of Study For Science at Key Stages 1 and 2 in Wales; and to the Programmes of Study for Science and Technology at Key Stages 1 and 2 in Northern Ireland.
