This resource includes two interesting lesson plans that could be used during a unit on Ancient Greece. The first introduces students to greek myths by reading and analyzing simplified versions of Athena and Arachne. The second lesson provides teachers with directions on how to lead students through a Greek alphabet translation activity. It would be valuable to provide students with background information before completing the activities. Both lessons could be integrated into larger units on Ancient Greece.
