In this clever middle school activity, students watch a well-known movie clip from Jurassic Park and use their knowledge of current electricity and grounding to determine if this famous scene is real science or if the movie creators exaggerated for creativity’s sake. The resource includes detailed lesson objectives and clear guiding question, a materials list, procedures and suggested assessment. The student worksheet is organized and clear and answer keys are provided. All handouts are uploaded as both a Word document and a pdf, for the user’s downloading preference.
