• This resource is an external link to a PBS unit called Fooling with Words with Bill Moyers. It includes videos of modern poets reading their works, biographical information about the poets, and interviews or segments of interviews with live poets, as well as three lesson plans, texts of other poems, teacher’s strategies, and links to a variety of other resources to help bring poetry to life. Over twenty living poets are included in the videos including, Marge Piercy, Robert Pinsky, Sharon Olds and Mark Doty. This rich resource will help students understand and love poetry and keep poetry alive.
