• This great resource has seven parts or children, each focused on a specific area of writing. The first PowerPoint presents information on how to write a great beginning, using a thought or question, dialogue, action, or sound. PPTs on on turning details into main event paragraphs and writing ending paragraphs are part of the resource as well. The other parts of this resource provide a rubric, a narrative writing graphic organizer, and questions designed to elicit details in the writing. The resource uses technology: Smart Art, Bubble USA, or Inspiration Software and the senses to teach students how to write descriptively.
