This is one lesson in a series on Gandhi’s life and the independence movement in India. While this lesson is designed for a specific classroom, there are some valuable resources that can easily be used. This lesson has activities for the third day of watching the movie Gandhi. It provides an activity to review what was learned in the first segment of the movie, a few guided movie questions, and a worksheet for students to write down lines from the movie that they want to discuss. There is also a handout that makes reference to using Bloom’s Taxonomy with the movie, but it is unclear how to integrate it into the lesson.
In order to make effective use of this lesson, it is recommended that you review the other lessons about Gandhi on Curriki as they all flow together. It would also be beneficial to preview the movie to determine appropriate timing with your specific bell schedule and the guided activities.
Information - 4.15 Gandhi (Movie 3)
