2.1 Introduction to Proportional Reasoning (Revised)
This inquiry-based lesson begins with a quick but fun exploration of how to make a mural. It builds up the notion of proportionality, teaching students how to solve proportions with equivalent fractions AND how to identify whether a situation is proportional in the first place. It's the first lesson in my revised Unit 2 on proportionality.
